Lola is working late one evening and returns home to a wake. Come to find out it's her own wake! Everybody is led to believe she is dead after a news reporter on television says so.

Turns out to be a huge case of stolen identity and now Lola has to set things straight, but that will be a big task that includes finding out who the dead lady is, why she stole Lola's identity, finding a missing child, putting up with Lola's ex Sergio, and trying to convince her grandma she is alive and not a spirit! Good thing she has her boyfriend Jack for help and support!

This was a great book full of fun and laughs especially Lola's crazy family! I Look forward to more adventures in this series!

Review: Love Finds You in Lonesome Prairie, Montana

Love Finds You in Lonesome Prairie, Montana by Tricia Goyer and Ocieanna Fleiss
Genre: Christian Romance

Publisher: Summerside Press
Pages: 348
Rating 5/5

Tricia Goyer is the author of several books, including Night Song and Dawn of a Thousand Nights, both past winners of the ACFW's Book of the Year Award for Long Historical Romance. Goyer lives with her family in Montana.

Ocieanna Fleiss is a published writer and has edited six of Tricia Goyer's historical novels. She lives with her husband and their four children in the Seattle area.

Julia is supposed to travel West to deliver children safely to adopting families along the orphan trail and then the plan was for her to turn around and come back home to New York but as plans usually dont go quite as expected neither did this one!

She finds she has been sold as a mail order bride and her return home ticket is invalid. Now distraut with no friends, money, or place to go she turns to the local pastor Issac for help and guidance. His family takes her in until all can get sorted out and they try to hook up the pastor with Ms Julia but the pastor has vowed to the Lord to never wed because he is on the road so much and doesn't want to leave a wife home alone on the prairie.

I was really pleased with the feel and atmosphere of Love Finds You in Lonesome Prairie Montana. The writing was so smooth and flowing it was like I was really there out in the west with Julia.  So many times I found myself laughing out loud over a few predicaments she got into especially when she was learning to milk the cow and the milk shot into the cats eye!

This was a fun light romance and I truly enjoyed it and would recommend it to anybody looking for a soft and fun loving western romance.  I also adored how each page was stamped at the top with a little postage stamp!  That was so neat!

• ISBN-10: 1600248535

• ISBN-13: 978-1600248535

Description

The year is 1906, and America is segregated. Hatred and discrimination plague the streets, the classroom, and the courts. But in Washington D.C., Ben Corbett, a smart and courageous lawyer, makes it his mission to confront injustice at every turn. He represents those who nobody else dares defend, merely because of the color of their skin. When President Roosevelt, under whom Ben served in the Spanish-American war, asks Ben to investigate rumors of the resurgence of the Ku Klux Klan in his home town in Mississippi, he cannot refuse.

The details of Ben's harrowing story--and his experiences with a remarkable man named Abraham Cross--were passed from generation to generation, until they were finally recounted to Alex Cross by his grandmother, Nana Mama. From the first time hear heard the story, Alex was unable to forget the unimaginable events Ben witnessed in Eudora and pledged to tell it to the world. Alex Cross's Trial is unlike any story Patterson has ever told, but offers the astounding action and breakneck speed of any Alex Cross novel.

Book: A Separate Country

Audio CD

Publisher: Hachette Audio; Unabridged edition (September 23, 2009)

ISBN-10: 1600247628

ISBN-13: 978-1600247620

Description

A Multi-Cast Production

Set in New Orleans in the years after the Civil War, A Separate Country is based on the incredible life of John Bell Hood, arguably one of the most controversial generals of the Confederate Army--and one of its most tragic figures. Robert E. Lee promoted him to major general after the Battle of Antietam. But the Civil War would mark him forever. At Gettysburg, he lost the use of his left arm. At the Battle of Chickamauga, his right leg was amputated. Starting fresh after the war, he married Anna Marie Hennen and fathered 11 children with her, including three sets of twins. But fate had other plans. Crippled by his war wounds and defeat, ravaged by financial misfortune, Hood had one last foe to battle: Yellow Fever. A Separate Country is the heartrending story of a decent and good man who struggled with his inability to admit his failures-and the story of those who taught him to love, and to be loved, and transformed him.

This audio book is read by Sherman Howard, Isabel Keating, and Kevin T. Collins.
