Synopsis: Zara and her friends knew they hadn't solved the pixie problem for good. Far from it. The king's needs grow deeper every day he's stuck in captivity, while his control over his people gets weaker. It's made him vulnerable. And now there's a new king in town.
A turf war is imminent, since the new pixie king, Astley, is moving in quickly. Nick nearly killed him in the woods on day one, but Zara came to his rescue. Astley swears that he and Zara are destined to be together, that he's one of the good guys. Nick isn't buying it, though Zara isn't as sure -- despite herself, she wants to trust the new king. But it's a lot more than her relationship with Nick that is at stake. It's her life -- and his.

Review: I'm not sure if it's because I have not read book one, "Need", yet or what but it took me a bit to get into Captivate. The characters were great and I easily took to them but the story line just kinda dragged until about middleways into the book. And if I never hear the word "Baby" again it will be too soon!

About midways the action picked up and some new characters were tossed into the mix and it seemed even the dialogue became more interesting. Zara reaches a turning point towards the end and only time will tell if she has made a huge mistake in judgement oh and the next book that is. lol I cant wait for the next book and in the meantime I am off to find "Need" and see how it all began!
